Privacy, cookies, and outside services
Privacy is the default. This page explains what is stored, what is optional, and when another service may receive a request.
Essential sessions
Essential cookies keep family access, personal sign-in, security, language, appearance, and your choices working. Shared sessions last for the browser session or 30 days when you choose it.
Your choices
Connected features and analytics remain off until you allow them. You can withdraw permission without deleting family photos already copied or silently disconnecting an account.
Google and other providers
Google may receive a request only when you choose sign-in or open a connected feature. Dropbox, Drive, Plex, and other providers remain inactive until an explicit action and reviewed configuration. La Familia never asks for your Google or Plex password.
Minimum data
Devices show a label, platform, coarse time, and expiry. Invitation links are stored as hashes. Streaming jobs contain only opaque IDs, policy, and generation—not emails, passwords, or tokens.
